Campground is nice but kind of small. The indoor pool is a nice addition. Main downside is that the WiFi does not cover the entire resort. Some of the sites that we stayed in had WiFi while others didn't. Otherwise staff is super nice and accomadating.
Not impressed the camp store sold t-shirts and protein shakes, nothing else no camp supplies no firewood no charcoal for the grill nothing. The pool( the main reason we chose this Campground) you could not see the bottom not sure when they treated it last. The bathrooms closed at 10 with the pool. the Sandy Beach was covered in weeds in front of an algae covered pound. And it's located directly beside the freeway and the other side has railroad tracks you hear the train come through every night and every morning. There are other campgrounds close by we will definitely be checking them out and never coming here again. Rarely do I write reviews but I felt obligated to warn others to stay away!
I've stayed over the years and I believe the new owners deserve every chance to make this the successful family RV campground they envision. While the park hasn't changed much compared to past years, we stayed under New ownership for the first time this past Memorial weekend. We had an unforeseen problem with the site and Brian came right away to fix the issue. He and Stacy have campers' hearts and this campground is better for it.
Much improved under new management. It seems as if they are making an effort to reinstate the park to what it used to be. I would try it again even though it wasn't an ideal campground. The sites are NOT level at all. There's a few concrete sites, but they are on a drastic angle downhill. It worked for us. The showers are gross and limited.
The campground was okay. But, the noise level from trains going by right when you are going to bed and the highway traffic from US 10 made it hard to sleep. Not quite what it shows in the pictures. AM garbage pick up never seemed to happen, too. Having sewer hook-up and water was nice, but the lots are close together.
