Very old place in Midland Michigan. It has been around forever. They have excellent food and great service.
Don't let the "bar" status fool you from stopping here. We normally come here for breakfast but come hungry! The portions are huge (hubs and I usually split something and it's plenty) and the service had always been very friendly.
The prices were reasonable, but the menu seemed pretty generic. However, the dish itself, the food was pretty darn big. Giant hamburgers, giant fried mushrooms, very satisfying
They have an incredible selection of bar food on their menu. We will defiantly be back to try more. They say they they have the best burger in Midland, not sure that if that is exactly true. The ratio of onions to other condiments and toppings was way off. They use their own pickles on the burger (not what I was expecting they seemed more sweet than usual). The battered brew city fries were excellent as well the fresh fries. This establishment proudly serves Coca-cola.
Stop by for a great food experience, friendly service and a Midland landmark (in my opinion!).
Yes it's a bar but in the morning, although busy, it's a nice atmosphere.
New the the area and have been there a hand full of times. Has a typical sports/grill menu, food is consistently good, staff is friendly and food arrived in a timely manner. My only complaint would be that when it's a busy night with a fried food special food can tend to be greasy.
