He was very knowledgeable and very reasonable in price. Not that he had to, but he did help me with my insurance company as well, making sure the insurance company paid what they were supposed to. I highly recommend this company
While on vacation, our college age daughter stopped home to find 8 inches of standing water in our basement after our sump pump had failed during a heavy period of rain. While 16 hours away from home, we called Brian at Service Master and he was amazing. First, he helped us to navigate the world of homeowners insurance as we had never filed a claim and really weren't completely sure of our coverage. That assistance alone was invaluable. Within hours Brian was at our home, had a plumber there, replaced the sump pump and the water was being pumped out of our basement. He communicated with us frequently as we drove back to Michigan worried about our finished basement, that housed many memories and two week old furniture. Brian and his crew went to town doing everything they do so well. Two days later all of our belongings were out of there, the carpet, pad, special sub-floor and portions of the drywall were removed. Service Master brought in huge dehumidifiers and fans which ran until they were positive it was dry. Brian is above all a professional, he is honest and sensitive in troubling times. We always knew where we stood and what the benefits and costs associated with the service would be. His crew were friendly and professional both in appearance and conduct. They cleaned up after themselves every step of the way and even laid out protective materials upstairs as to not do any further damage. In the future, Brian and Service Master are the only people we will call and we will continue to recommend them to everyone we know.

Our basement was flooded with raw sewage from the toilet. We called the day of and were told that we would have people come the next day from 830 to 930. Well no one showed up, we called 3 different times and every time we were told we would get a call back, never did. So when we called the last time to explain our situation we finally got a call from the service worker. He told us he was in the area and it would cost $2,800 just to rent the drying equipment. We asked if he could still come. He never showed up, greatly disappointed with this company, not just a rip off, but left us hanging. Don't tell them you have insurance, because they are greatly interested how much money you are getting and will price accordingly.
