2 years of being on testosterone therapy with no changes. 2 years of pain by being stuck with a needle every 10 to 14 days. Asked many times to be seen by a specialist got nothing but attitude but will tell you oh just skip a meal it wouldn't hurt. Great answer to a medical problem. Rapid weight gain among other sypmtoms to find out I have something more severe than low t. Horrible doctor doesn't listen to patients doesn't care about you as a patient just cares about the insurance money. The information that was stated about medication refills being called in is a complete and utter lie. He's quick with the prescription pad that's for sure will give you anything you want but not what you need. It's time to give it up and retire John
While the Doctor may be nice, the policies of the practice are only designed to gain them money, not actually help patients. Need a refill on meds, you have to be seen. Need a different prescription than the one prescribed the week before, have to be seen. Last time I was there for a simple med change, I waited over an hour and a half just to be seen for less than 3 minutes by the doctor. That med didn't work, so I call back the next week only to be told, "No I won't ask the Dr to change the med. You have to come in." The nurse was absolutely horrible on the phone. I ended up going in and dealing with the office. I have never been to a practice so focused on having a patient come in when all they need are simple med refills or changes. If I hadn't been there in over a year, sure, or even 6 months maybe, but less than a month? Seriously?? They care more about the money than their patients getting the meds they need. At first I was so happy with not having to make an appointment and a nice Doctor, but the drawbacks FAR outweigh the benefits of this place. Will be changing doctors ASAP.
Where has Dr. Vargas Been! He is very informed on auto ammune diseases which is Rare these days, when i ask about fibro fog, and an MD doesnt know what it is.. tis a Problem! No, Dr. Vargas is amazing he listened to what i had to say and dug in to figure it out, and is working with me on a treatment plan... unless you live in chronic pain and have been shamed for your diseases you cannot begin to understand the value of a Dr. That has compassion and drive to help... he could've retired by now with his credentials but here he is, because he cares about being a good physician. Also i will say the staff is Amazing they are on top o' things and very helpful.
Doctor Vargas is nice, but not the staff, and it;s a shame the DEA has an office in there also. You feel like a criminal. It very bad how they treat good Doctors who care but Can not help their Patients for being in fear.
He's made a big difference with my health and seems to really care his patients
