It was very crowded ,the young man at the register was very rude when scanning my items and didn't ask for ones from the manager so he gave me 4 dollars in dimes. I do love to shop here due to this is the only KMart in this area but if this what they like to hire in people no more shopping here.
Like the store, like the reward points, but don't like how long it takes to check out... They never have enough people working and when you go to check out the debit card machine always wants to ask a bunch of questions which takes even more time. I just want to enter my phone number paying and check out and be out the door like Walgreens. The registers are slow the computers are slow the people working there are slow the cashiers are slow everybody is slow in there and it drives me crazy. The only thing that keeps me coming back to that store is because of the rewards like surprise money. If they could get things moving quicker and get a couple more working the registers during the day I think they would find more customers coming in people don't want to wait all day to check out.
It's not my favorite place to shop but the free cash is nice
The store manger there is a complete DICK!! He should probably not have a job in customer service! I enjoy Kmart because they do have good deals on stuff but every time I’ve had to deal with him he is anything but friendly. And today is what really made me mad i needed to do a return and it was for $23 i paid with debit but assumed i would get cash back since it was a smaller amount. Which i have always received cash back any other time I’ve done a return and paid with debit. But he refused to do so and said they don’t allow it. This is very inconvenient considering it takes 3-4 days to actually be credited back to your card. Thank god that i wasn’t relying on using that for gas or something. But there may be other people who would be in that predicament and needing the cash instead of waiting a week for their money to be available again. I could understand if it was for a large amount but $23 is not a lot of money at all. I will definitely be contacting the district manager and cooperate because he should not have that job if he can’t treat customers nicely!
I never like going here but sometimes you just have to grab something and you know they will have it. Everytime I go there I seem to have an odd experience. Nothing seems to flow. I can't tell you the last time they had more than 1 cash register open so you always wait. This is no exaggeration, on my last visit I went because I was told they had some summer clearance sales on slip and slides. I was pleased to see they indeed had them and at a good price. I grabbed one, and waited for the one register (of course). I reach the counter with my son and say hello politely and ask how they are. The LADY responds with a belch a chuckle. My 5 year old son looked at me strangely but we made no comment. We paid for our slide and left. When we got to the car all my son said was, that was weird. I agreed and thought...par for the course at the Midland Kmart.....
