Great prices and service! They are always easy to work with and very accommodating with your schedule and setting an appointment.
It needs to be noted that this business has a new owner. Although I do not have any experience with the past owners, the new owner has a heart for rescue and does a beautiful job grooming my dog. My dog is high strung and can be sassy. He does great when he goes here. Price was fair as well!
Just had an appointment for my Yorkie her today at 2:00pm. Showed up to my appointment and no one was there. No sign on the door nothing, called phone number no answer.. waited around for fifteen minutes, nobody showed up.. I understand if there was an emergency you should at least put a sign on the door. Long story short will not be returning to them.. plan and simple.
I'll never know what really happened. But I do know that she will never go back to Pretty Puppies ever again! I hate to do something to hurt a local business but I also don't want another dog to be hurt by an unemotionally attached groomer!!!
Rosie is doing much better! ❤️The blister is gone. Her eye is still completely red...and she continues to protect that side of her face and ducks her head quickly if you get too close to her head.
When I went to pick up the 50% of the vet bill she agreed to pay only after speaking to my vet to verify that it was NOT a stress related injury! I told her that it would be an easier situation to handle if she showed even a little bit of empathy instead of treating it like a business transaction! Although she said she worked all her life with animals, and admits that if one of her dogs was in this situation she would be upset, she said "I don't know your dog, so I have no emotional attachment to it...so to me it is just a business transaction!" Totally shocked!!!
Bought a puppy advertised on Craigslist from new owner. Suspicious story of missing owner given. " Selling them for a lady in the hospital". My vet confirms suspicion of puppy mill operation, dog probably not breed promised nor will it be size promised. No dogs there being groomed. Buyer beware
So I purposely waited a few days before posting to make sure that I stuck to the facts and didn't get overly emotional. But definitely think it's important to let people know about a horrible experience I had with a groomer here in town. Rosie has been going to this groomer for years however they just changed ownership so the groomer was new for her.
To anyone who gets their pet groomed locally. Please read. This happened to a good friend of mine.

The emergency Vet said that she "had never seen this kind of injury from stress"...more likely blunt trauma!!!
The Groomer was very cold when I spoke to her about the situation! Refusing to say anything other than she followed standard protocol and Rosie freaked out....she didn't know how it happened!

As if it wasn't bad enough they have a puppy mill where they constantly breed the same poor dog over and over again. SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN
Long story short(kind of) I picked Rosie up from her appointment after a call from the groomer saying she "freaked out" during her nail trim and broke a blood vessel in her eye. She has never had any issues at the groomers before so I was concerned. I was horrified to see her eye! It was way worse than I imagined! She had a large blood blister that hung out from under her upper eyelid and covered the top part of her left eye, and her left side of her face was very tender. She was in a lot of pain!
